Maitelates Alfajores are rich, decadent shortbread cookies sandwiching a thick layer of homemade dulce de leche caramel - made with locally produced butter, eggs, and flour.
Each cookie is then dipped and coated in intense, dark Taza Chocolate, with cocoa beans sourced directly from farmers . Taza makes their famous stone ground, small batch chocolate by hand in Boston.
